To those who fail

To those who fail

This writing is infact for those who fail miserably or happily in FCPS Orthodontics.

So, if you have passed your part 2, kindly stop reading.

Stop.

Ok, stop right now you'll ruin it for the rest of us 😋.

And those of you fulfilling the criteria kindly lift your (spirits AND) antennas and rejoice it. Why am I writing this? is probably because of a recent encounter (a series, the whole bunch actually) which lead me to believe that while we eagerly prey on people/seniors from the other side of the border (those who do pass the horrendous exam), people just tell us things to do. What they never tell, is, what I am about to write (and dedicate to y'all).

For starters I ll call all of us my favorite bunch. That's the first dose of positivity. The second one will follow shortly sire. Each attempt teaches you something. Call it a teacher. Nature's calling. Don't make it a missed call. Just buckle up and start working on the ground already made. Realize the mistake correct it and grow past it. Don't cling to the "oh but I already did THAT or THIS or THAT". It doesn't matter how many attempts you give or how many hurdles you've crossed. Connect yourself on a deeper level after everything has passed. Learn and move on. Moving on is the most lethal weapon for survival for the millennials, from what I've heard.

Resolution 2020 ☺️.

Third: Remember! (in mufasa's voice), when you ask and go to a person asking for help and that person has cleared, just focus on the "to-do list". Don't pay heed to the "Tum ne time waste kerdia"
"Mein ne to goals banaye huay thay k iss saal tak pass hee kerna h"

OR

The master of it all "20 kitaabein aur 10(in some choroo cases 15) saal k articles yaad kerlo. "

You'll never be able to do it. Don't overburden yourself. Go back and check your basics every now n then. If they're being compromised just revise what you need to, read what you need to. Be it an article or a book or a parchi laying somewhere in department. Just focus and read yourself. Every trick is Not meant for you and most definitely won't work for you.

Passing an exam is more about your hardwork (this one's outta question), sheer amount of luck and your stars aligning in the right time, at the right moment. Just because you missed something by whiskers doesn't mean you are not deserving. You are much more capable than that. It's just that life likes to play funny games and nobody is going out of this life Alive anyway! So why worry.

Fourth. Don't loose focus of what you already know. Academically and spiritually. Things you know will make you stronger, weigh your thoughts and anchor your soul.

Fifth. Take yourself out for dinners! Alone! Sometimes. You need it.

Sixth. Wrap a cloth around your ears tightly when someone says "log apni ghalati se fail hotay hain". We already know that one. How else one will fail other than this?
It is so absurd just like saying:
"Sooraj ki waja se dhoop hoti hai"
Or
"Fanoos (chandelier) gol lagaye hain to plates b gol hee li hain" (makes no sense!)

Seventh. Family is important.

Eighth. Family is important.

Ninth. People back stab all the time. Don't focus on people. Also, this one's old news. Also improve your editing skills and cut the crap out real quick.

Tenth. Family is important.

Lastly, you are your own heroes ladies and gentlemen. Stay foolish. ☺️
